If you're using CloudTax EFILE and want to customize the email address that clients see when receiving communications, you can do so by integrating SendGrid with your EFILE Portal.
This is an optional step—your EFILE software will still function without it—but it allows you to personalize outbound emails and create a more professional experience for your clients.
Step 1: Create a Free SendGrid Account
Head over to SendGrid and sign up for a free account.
Step 2: Verify Your TO and FROM Email Addresses
Once you're in your SendGrid Dashboard, navigate to Sender Management (as shown in the image below) and verify both your TO and FROM email addresses. This step ensures that your emails are authenticated and won’t end up in spam folders.

Step 3: Copy Your SMTP API Key
After verifying your email addresses, go to Settings > API Keys, then create and copy your SMTP API Key.
Step 4: Add Your SendGrid API Key to CloudTax EFILE
Login to your EFILE Portal
Navigate to Menu > Settings Email
Paste your SendGrid API key in the designated field
